STD-H Fender Cover (44" x 16"): Advantages & Features
This product has been designed to have the following features:
1) Allow total access to all of the engine compartment.
2) Designed not to fall off, mark or scratch paint
3) Has 3 hooks at the top edge (re-bendable stainless steel inserts in a sheath) which allow for anchoring over any lip or edge on non metallic fenders. There are also loops at each end of the magnet holding sheath in case one had to tie the cover on.
4) Has magnets in a sheath which attach to the vertical inside fender lip and do not contact the paint on the fender's normally exposed surface
5) Designed so clothing glides over the top side OVERGLIDE® surface instead of gripping it and causing the cover to move against the paint. You slide over the cover instead of the cover sliding over the paint and causing scratches!
6) Won't rip or tear under normal conditions
7) Tested for brake clean, carb cleaner, battery acid, brake fluid
8) 1 way magnets (Safe-T-Mag®) ensure safety of computerized engine & test equipment
9) Has a PVC coated cloth core and can be wiped clean both sides.

*The RLB-H fender cover from the Hi End Line is frequently purchased by technicians looking for rib cage protection when leaning over hard fenders for extended periods.
Multiple, position adjustible, high strength, high holding power, special uni-directional magnets are distributed along the hangar lip to provide one-way gripping strength. The magnets can be moved inside their respective enclosures to customize the gripping positions. Note: It is recommended that the magnets grip on the inside vertical fender lip (LipGrip®) not on the fender itself. This prevents any potential scratching of clearcoats where magnets would contact the paint on the fender. Special 1 way magnets (Safe-T-Mag®) ensure that flux does not radiate into the engine compartment and effect computerized equipment. Top side OVERGLIDE® technology ensures that mechanics clothing glides over the upper cover surface easing entry and exit into the engine compartment and substantially reducing movement against the fender paint.
Cleanliness: Both sides can be wiped clean. Oil grease or fluids cannot soak through to contact the paint. Both sides are non marking. Laundering is not required. Simply spray with "Simple Green" to cut the grease and oil films and wipe clean.
Long Service Life: This unit is constructed from a material that has a cloth core and a P.V.C. coating on both sides. CSB 69 industrial nylon thread is used for strength and resistance to wear and tear. The polyurethane coated nylon edge binding can be wiped clean, is strong and won't easily tear. These units are extremely tough, resist wearing and tearing, chemicals (tested for brake clean, carb cleaner, varsol, battery acid, solvents), rotting, and mildew. Magnets lose less than 1/2 of 1% of their strength per century.

STD-D-H Fender Cover: Advantages & Features
1) The STD-D-H is the same as the STD-H model above except that it is 10 inches deeper to also cover where the front bumper wraps back to the tire and for wider fender crowns. NB. Some of the wheel well is covered on a narrow fender. If frequent access is required to the wheel well area on a narrow fender, use the STD-H model.

STANDARD DEEP DEEP WIDE HOOK Model Fender Cover (STD-DDW-H) (54" x 36")
STD-DDW-H Fender Cover: Advantages & Features
1) The STD-DDW-H is the same as the STD-D-H model above except that it is 10 inches wider and 10 inches deeper to cover very large fenders and large front bumper areas. This cover is not commonly used. It is generally too large for "Daily Driver" vehicles. Typically when fender or front areas are very large (older Vintage, Classic or Muscle Cars), the RLB-DDW cover with the removeable launderable backer (same size) is used instead.
